Hi! I’m Zsanett
A wedding photographer based in Antigua, Guatemala, I’m all about capturing authentic moments filled with real emotions. Ever since I picked up a camera over 10 years ago, I’ve been drawn to photographing people, interactions, and the small joys of everyday life. For a long time, I put off becoming a professional photographer because I felt very protective of my passion for this art.
Living in London, I dedicated my weekends to street photography, continuously learning and experimenting. Street photography became travel photography when I left London and travelled through Latin America for eight months – a life-changing trip that led me to my new home in Guatemala. It was here, in Antigua, that I photographed a wedding for the first time. I quickly realised it was the perfect combination for me: capturing the most beautiful, candid moments of life while making a living doing what I love.
I was fortunate to work alongside some of the best photographers in the industry, soaking in as much knowledge from these invaluable experiences as I could. As a wedding photographer, I don’t only capture the highlights of the event; I look for the details and moments that best tell the unique story of each wedding.
While a documentary style best describes my wedding photography, I also pay great attention to helping my clients look their best in their photos. I achieve that through clear communication, attention to detail, and, most of all, a lot of empathy – from the preparation to the wedding day itself. This helps my clients feel relaxed and present during their special day, trusting me to capture the moments they’ll be happy to remember.
My photography style is best described as documentary with an editorial touch – meaning I focus on honest, emotional storytelling while also making sure my clients look natural and effortless in every frame. I achieve this through clear communication, attention to detail, and, most of all, empathy – from the preparation to the wedding day itself. As a result, my clients feel relaxed and present during their special day, trusting me to capture the moments they’ll be happy to remember.
The Spelling
Zsanett is the Hungarian spelling of the French name Jeanette and it’s pronounced the same way. – I will listen to anything that sounds even remotely similar. 😉
